MPSC Prelims – Group A, B & C
| The MPSC (Maharashtra Public Service Commission) State Service Preliminary Examination consists of two papers. Each paper is for 200 marks, and the level of difficulty is that of a bachelor’s degree. Below is the syllabus for both papers in a two-column format. | महाराष्ट्रात होणाऱ्या MPSC (Maharashtra Public Service Commission) राज्यसेवा पूर्व परीक्षेसाठी दोन पेपर्स असतात. दोन्ही पेपर्स प्रत्येकी २०० गुणांचे असून, त्यांची काठिण्य पातळी पदवी स्तराची (degree level) असते. खालीलप्रमाणे दोन स्तंभांमध्ये अभ्यासक्रम दिला आहे: |
Paper I: General Studies Current Events: Important current events of both state, national and international importance. History: Indian history, with special reference to Maharashtra, and the Indian National Movement. Geography: Geography of Maharashtra, India, and the world. This includes physical, social, and economic geography. Polity and Governance: The Constitution of India, the political system, Panchayati Raj, public policy, and rights issues, with a focus on both India and Maharashtra. Economic and Social Development: Sustainable development, poverty, inclusion, demographics, and social sector initiatives. General Science: Covers topics from physics, chemistry, biology, and general science. Environment: General issues on environmental ecology, biodiversity, and climate change that do not require subject specialization. | पेपर १: सामान्य अध्ययन (General Studies) चालू घडामोडी: जागतिक तसेच भारतातील महत्त्वाच्या चालू घडामोडी. इतिहास: भारतीय इतिहास (विशेषतः महाराष्ट्राच्या संदर्भात) आणि भारतीय राष्ट्रीय चळवळ. भूगोल: महाराष्ट्र, भारत आणि जगाचा भूगोल, यात भौतिक, सामाजिक आणि आर्थिक भूगोलाचा समावेश आहे. राज्यशास्त्र: महाराष्ट्र आणि भारतातील राज्यशास्त्र, ज्यात राज्यघटना, राजकीय प्रणाली, पंचायती राज आणि सार्वजनिक धोरणे यांचा समावेश आहे. अर्थशास्त्र आणि सामाजिक विकास: शाश्वत विकास, दारिद्र्य, समावेशन, लोकसंख्याशास्त्र आणि सामाजिक क्षेत्रातील उपक्रम. सामान्य विज्ञान: भौतिकशास्त्र, रसायनशास्त्र, जीवशास्त्र आणि सामान्य विज्ञानावर आधारित प्रश्न. पर्यावरण: पर्यावरणीय परिस्थिती, जैवविविधता आणि हवामान बदल यावरील सामान्य प्रश्न. |
Paper II: General Aptitude Test (CSAT) Comprehension: This tests your ability to understand and interpret given passages. Interpersonal Skills: Includes communication skills. Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability: Questions based on logical reasoning and the ability to analyze information. Decision-Making and Problem-Solving: Evaluates your ability to make sound decisions and solve problems in given scenarios. General Mental Ability: Questions on quantitative aptitude, reasoning, and mental ability. Basic Numeracy: Numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude, etc. (Class 10th level). Data interpretation including charts, graphs, tables, and data sufficiency (Class 10th level). Language Comprehension Skills: Comprehension passages in both Marathi and English. | पेपर २: सामान्य क्षमता चाचणी (General Aptitude Test) आकलन (Comprehension): उतारे वाचून त्यावर आधारित प्रश्नांची उत्तरे देणे. आंतरवैयक्तिक कौशल्ये (Interpersonal Skills): संवाद कौशल्ये समाविष्ट आहेत. तार्किक विचार आणि विश्लेषणात्मक क्षमता (Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability): तर्कावर आधारित प्रश्न आणि माहितीचे विश्लेषण करण्याची क्षमता. निर्णय घेणे आणि समस्या निराकरण (Decision-Making and Problem-Solving): योग्य निर्णय घेण्याची आणि समस्या सोडवण्याची क्षमता तपासणे. सामान्य मानसिक क्षमता (General Mental Ability): संख्याज्ञान, तर्क आणि तर्कशक्ती. मूलभूत संख्याज्ञान (Basic Numeracy): संख्या, त्यांचे संबंध, आणि आकडेवारीचे विश्लेषण (इयत्ता १० वी स्तरावर). मराठी आणि इंग्रजी भाषेतील आकलन कौशल्ये (Comprehension skills in Marathi and English): मराठी आणि इंग्रजी दोन्ही भाषांमधील उताऱ्यांवर आधारित प्रश्न. |
